“Healing, Wholeness and Building a Basho in Whoville”

I just gave the Keynote Speech at a College of San Mateo sponsored conference for Mental Health professionals.  I spoke about the importance of love, relatedness and wholeness in therapy – especially contrasting modern technology and poetry.  The final flourish was all courtesy of Matsuo Basho, with Makiko Ueda reading the original Japanese Haiku.

A very enjoyable event!  Thanks for the invitation!  I enjoyed putting together the thoughts that have been rolling around in my head for awhile.
